BandOpticon is a browser-based amateur radio visualisation tool that turns PSKReporter reception reports into live geographic views of activity across multiple bands and modes.
Rather than examining one band at a time, it presents a carousel of map tiles so operators can compare the extent and intensity of activity across the spectrum at a glance. A larger band-detail map can then be opened for closer inspection. The application runs client-side in JavaScript, so it can be used directly in a web browser without installing a desktop program. Its focus is on understanding propagation, comparing station performance and spotting reciprocal paths that are more likely to support a QSO.
