b2sum – calculate BLAKE2 checksums

b2sum is a small command-line utility for calculating BLAKE2 checksums.

Written in Go, it provides a straightforward way to hash files or data from standard input, and it supports both BLAKE2b and BLAKE2s algorithms with configurable digest sizes.

This is free and open source software.

Key Features

  • Calculates BLAKE2 checksums from files passed on the command line.
  • Reads from standard input when no filename is specified.
  • Supports both BLAKE2b and BLAKE2s hashing algorithms.
  • Lets users choose the digest size in bytes.
  • Offers downloadable binaries for Linux and other operating systems.
