PeaZip is a graphical file archiver and file management application. It provides a unified interface for creating, opening, extracting and converting compressed archives, including formats not commonly supported by standard desktop archive managers.
The application combines several compression technologies behind a consistent interface. It can also browse files and directories, perform searches and carry out security-related operations without requiring separate utilities.
Developed using Free Pascal and Lazarus, PeaZip is suitable for everyday file compression, transferring collections of files and managing encrypted archives.
