Log Analyzers

Kibana – analytics and visualization platform

Kibana is a browser based interface for logstash and ElasticSearch that allows you to efficiently search, visualize, analyze and otherwise make sense of a mountain of logs.

Kibana is complemented by a range of free and open-source tools that can help you aggregate and deliver metrics, analytics and vital performance data.

These tools include ElasticSearch, Graphite, logstash, RabbitMQ, syslog-ng, statsd, and Graphital.

Features include:

  • Uses the same flexible Lucene search syntax as Elasticsearch.
  • Load balance against your Elasticsearch cluster.
  • Visually analyze trends in log volume to find peaks and valleys.
  • Score, trend and average fields to find patterns. Find the most common values and see how they’ve changed over time.
  • Create dashboards from searches to view events in real time, as they happen
  • RSS feeds.
  • Searches only the indices matched by your timeframe to try to give you results as fast as possible.
