tgt is a terminal user interface for Telegram built with Rust and TDLib.
It offers a keyboard-focused way to work with chats and messages while still handling richer Telegram content such as photos, pinned messages, files, and voice and audio playback. Its interface separates the chat list, conversation view and prompt, while flexible TOML files control keybindings, themes, logging and Telegram settings.
This is free and open source software.

- Multi-line message composition and display, clipboard support, and configurable prompt controls.
- SOCKS5, HTTP and MTProto proxy support through Telegram configuration.
- XDG-style paths, automatic config creation, versioned upgrades and commands for clearing configuration, data and logs.
- Downloaded, local or pkg-config-discovered TDLib with optional static linking.
