ruxguitar is a graphical Guitar Pro tablature player.
It is designed for musicians who want to open tablature files, follow the notation on screen and hear the music played back without the editing complexity of a full tablature editor.
The program concentrates on playback and practice. It presents guitar tablature in a clean interface with controls for navigating a song and adjusting playback. It is read-only, so it does not provide tools for creating or modifying scores. Standard musical notation is also outside its remit.
This is free and open source software.
