Orfeo ToolBox – remote sensing image processing library

Orfeo ToolBox (OTB) is a collection of remote-sensing image processing algorithms designed for very large optical, multispectral, hyperspectral and radar imagery.

Initiated by CNES, it provides reusable processing components together with ready-made applications that can be called from the command line, Python or QGIS. Its streaming and multi-threaded architecture lets many algorithms work on imagery larger than available memory, while the C++ API supports construction of specialised processing chains.

This is free and open source software.

• SAR processing including calibration, speckle filtering, polarimetric analysis and interferometry.
• Object-based image analysis with attribute computation, filtering and classification.
• Algorithms are accessible from C++, Python, the command line and QGIS, supporting both scripted and interactive workflows.
