KMyMoney is the Personal Finance Manager for KDE. It is similar to MS-Money and Quicken, supports different account types, categorisation of expenses, QIF import/export, multiple currencies and initial online banking support. It enables users to keep careful track of their personal finances by providing a broad array of financial features and tools.
The principal goals of the project are: Feature Parity (to provide all important features found in the commercially-available personal finance managers, but not merely to be a clone), Ease of Use, and Correctness (using tried and tested double entry accounting principles)
KMyMoney stores financial data in it’s XML format.
Using time tested double entry accounting principles KMyMoney can help ensure that your finances are kept in correct order. The software also aims to be as easy to use as possible.
