gojq is a pure Go implementation of jq.
You can also embed gojq as a library to your Go products.
This is free and open source software.
Key Features
- Completely portable. Unlike jq, gojq doesn’t depend on the C standard library or the regular expression library.
- Implements nice error messages for invalid query and JSON input.
- Does not keep the order of object keys.
- Supports arbitrary-precision integer calculation. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, modulo, and division operators (when divisible) keep the integer precision.
- Fixes various bugs of jq.
- Truncates down floating-point numbers on indexing.
- Supports reading from YAML input.
