gg is a small collection of games that you can play in your terminal.
This is free and unencumbered software released into the public domain.
Games include:
- 2048 – a single-player sliding tile puzzle. The objective of the game is to slide numbered tiles on a grid to combine them to create a tile with the number 2048; however, in the original game one can continue to play the game after reaching the goal, creating tiles with larger numbers.
- Dodger – a version of Asteroids.
- Maze – a very simple maze game.
- Hangman – a guessing game where you suggest letters within a certain number of guesses.
- Connect 4 (2 players) – a game in which the players choose a color and then take turns dropping colored tokens into a six-row, seven-column vertically suspended grid. In this incarnation, the colored tokens are replaced with x and o.
- Pong (2 players) – there is no computer play.
- Tic-tac-toe (2 players) – also known as noughts and crosses – players take turns marking the spaces in a three-by-three grid with X or O. There is no computer play.
