clazy is a static code analyser designed specifically for C++ software developed with Qt. It is based on the Clang framework and understands many Qt-specific programming idioms and APIs.
The analyser provides more than 50 checks covering areas such as unnecessary allocations, incorrect API usage, container handling, signal and slot problems, temporary objects and inefficient string operations. Checks are organised into levels, allowing developers to control how aggressive the analysis should be.
clazy is primarily implemented as a Clang compiler plugin, but it is not restricted to plugin-only use. The project also provides clazy-standalone, which can analyse projects using a JSON compilation database. A number of checks offer fix-its that can automatically perform appropriate source-code changes.
This is free and open source software.
