Portfolio Manager – portfolio valuation and analytics application

Portfolio Manager is a portfolio valuation and analytics application written mainly in Go, with a web interface for end users.

It’s designed for tracking personal portfolios across equities, foreign exchange, commodities, cash, corporate and government bonds, and cryptocurrencies. The software fetches market data from free sources, stores portfolio and reference data locally, and includes integrations with Gemini and Model Context Protocol for LLM-assisted analysis.

This is free and open source software.

  • Fetches current and historical market data from free sources including Yahoo Finance, Google Finance, Nasdaq, Barchart, MAS, dividends.sg, and ilovessb.com.
  • Imports and exports portfolio blotter data using CSV files.
  • Supports custom dividends metadata and ticker reference data export in YAML format.
  • Stores portfolio, reference, dividends, and coupon data in LevelDB.
  • Displays individual and aggregated asset information with statistics such as IRR, market value, and price paid.
  • Provides portfolio analytics including correlation matrices and benchmark comparisons.
  • Includes cloud and local backup and restore support, including Google Drive.
  • Exposes an OpenAPI-compliant interface for integration with other systems.
  • Includes an MCP server for integration with LLMs.
