Recommend an Open Source Program

LinuxLinks already covers a huge range of open source software, but there are many useful Linux programs we haven’t discovered or featured yet.

If you know of an open source program that deserves more attention, please complete the form below. We’re particularly interested in software that runs natively under Linux, is actively maintained, and is ready for everyday use.

Before submitting a suggestion, please bear these points in mind:

• Use our search function first to check that the program doesn’t already have a page on LinuxLinks.
• Check the software runs on a modern Linux distribution. Projects that depend on obsolete libraries or are unusually difficult to build are unlikely to be featured.
• Please don’t suggest abandoned projects or software that hasn’t received meaningful updates in recent years.
