Speeedy is a local-first speed reading progressive web app. It uses Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) to display words in a fixed area, reducing the eye movement needed when reading conventional lines of text.
The app uses Optimal Recognition Point alignment to position each word around the letter most readily recognised by the eye. It offers extensive controls for reading speed, word timing, presentation and accessibility.
This is free and open source software.
