Mixer

RsMixer – PulseAudio volume mixer

RsMixer is a terminal-based PulseAudio volume mixer written in Rust. It provides an interactive interface for managing sound devices and application streams, with a particular emphasis on making the relationship between applications and their output devices easier to understand.

The application organises its controls into Output, Input and Cards views. The Output view groups playback streams beneath their associated output devices in a tree structure, so you can see which applications are sending audio to each device.

RsMixer displays volume levels and allows them to be adjusted using the keyboard. It also provides access to sound card settings and context menus for available operations.

Keyboard shortcuts can be customised through a TOML configuration file. Mouse actions are configurable too, including right-click and middle-click operations. RsMixer can be installed through Cargo or built from source.

This is free and open source software.
