opsu! – unofficial client for the rhythm game osu!

opsu! is an unofficial client for the rhythm game osu!, written in Java using Slick2D and LWJGL (wrappers around OpenGL and OpenAL).

osu! is heavily community-oriented, with all beatmaps and playable songs being community-made through the in-game map editor. Four different game modes exist, offering various ways to play a beatmap, which can also be combined with addable modifiers, increasing or decreasing the difficulty.

opsu! requires “beatmaps” to run, which contain the songs and gameplay data. These can be downloaded directly through opsu! in the downloads menu

opsu! is free and open source software.

Features include:

  • Cross-platform support -runs under Linux, macOS, and Windows.
