myMarkmap – Create Mind Maps from Markdown

myMarkmap is a browser-based editor that transforms Markdown text into an interactive mind map. Users describe the hierarchy with Markdown headings or nested lists instead of arranging graphical nodes manually. The resulting map is updated alongside the integrated editor. Maps remain lightweight text documents that can be retained and edited independently of the application.

• Supply custom CSS in the document’s YAML header.
• Control branch width, line curves, initial expansion depth and colour inheritance through YAML options.
• Expand or collapse branches and pan or zoom around larger maps.
• Navigate with a mouse or touchscreen, including pinch-to-zoom gestures.
• Focus the display on a selected branch or conceal its text temporarily.
• Automatically resize the mind map to fit the browser window.
• Export a completed map as an SVG image or standalone HTML file.
• Create a quick sharing link containing the map’s Markdown content.
• Load Markdown from public URLs hosted by services including GitHub, CodiMD, HedgeDoc, Digipage and Framapad.
• Hide the application menu when embedding or presenting a map.
• Use keyboard shortcuts to open the editor, control resizing and toggle the menu.
• Run the static SvelteKit application without creating a user account.
