MeshCentral is a self-hosted computer management platform that allows administrators to monitor and control remote machines through a web browser. It provides a centralised environment for managing computers connected to a local network or located elsewhere on the internet.
The software uses a Node.js server and lightweight agents installed on managed computers. Once an agent establishes a connection, its computer becomes accessible through the management interface, allowing administrators to perform support and maintenance tasks without being physically present.
MeshCentral is suitable for organisations, IT support providers and individuals who need to administer multiple computers. By hosting the management server themselves, administrators retain control over the infrastructure used to connect to their remote systems.
The platform also integrates with Intel Active Management Technology, allowing compatible hardware to be managed independently of the installed operating system.
This is free and open source software.
