Linux PataOS is a desktop Linux distribution based on Debian and built around the Cinnamon desktop environment.
The distribution is intended to provide a stable, ready-to-use workstation for developers, engineers, designers and other creative users. Its developer has a background in CAD and engineering and has shaped the distribution around workloads such as programming, CAD, 3D modelling, electronics design and multimedia production.
Privacy and security are also areas of focus. The project states that it does not include unnecessary telemetry or background data collection and provides firewall and permission-management facilities.
