ictree – interactive directory tree viewer for the terminal

ictree is a terminal-based application for exploring directory structures interactively. It is particularly useful for working with the output of commands such as find and locate, which can produce lengthy lists of matching file paths.

Instead of presenting paths as a flat list, ictree organizes them into a hierarchical tree. Users can expand and collapse directories, move between entries, and focus on the sections that matter without repeatedly scrolling through unrelated results.

The program can also pass selected paths to other applications or return them to the shell. This makes ictree useful as an interactive selection interface within command-line workflows.
