hodie brings new functionality to your UNIX installations.
Its main functionality is in fact rather simple. It prints out the current date and time. The quirks are only that the date and time are displayed in Roman digits, and that additionally, the current date is displayed in Latin.
The date ab urbe condita is available as a command-line switch.
This is free and open source software.
