E-UAE – ubiquitous Amiga emulator

E-UAE is an Amiga emulator. A Commodore Amiga is a 16/32 bit computer system based on the Motorola 680×0 CPU and a few specially designed custom chips that provide very good graphics and sound capabilities.

It is an unofficial branch of UAE (the Ubiquitous Amiga Emulator), bringing the features of WinUAE to Linux and other operating systems.

To make full use of E-UAE you will need access to an image of some version of the Amiga Kickstart ROM (although UAE does include a ROM emulation which may work with some old games).

Features include:

  • Emulation core based on WinUAE.
  • Original Amiga chipset, Enhanced Chip Set and Advanced Graphics Architecture.
  • I/O devices (floppy disk driver, joystick, mouse and serial ports).
  • Processor (Motorola 68k).
