disktui is a terminal-based application for disk management and partitioning on Linux. It provides an interactive text interface for inspecting storage devices, creating partitions and performing common disk administration tasks.
The application offers keyboard-driven navigation between disks and partitions. Users can create partition tables, format storage devices, resize partitions and mount or unmount file systems without entering individual commands for every operation.
disktui also supports LUKS2 encryption and can display detailed disk information, including SMART health data when the appropriate utilities are available. It uses established Linux storage tools to carry out operations and prompts for elevated privileges when necessary.
This is free and open source software.
