cosmic-comp is the Wayland compositor for the COSMIC desktop environment. Written in Rust and built on Smithay, it manages windows, workspaces, displays, input devices, and graphical output for a COSMIC session.
The compositor combines traditional floating window management with automatic tiling and provides extensive configuration for input, focus behaviour, displays, accessibility, and X11 applications running through XWayland.
This is free and open source software.
