cfonts is a little command line tool for sexy ANSI fonts in the console.

This is free and open source software.

Key Features

  • Define the font face from console – block, simpleBlock, simple, 3d, simple3d, chrome, huge, shade, slick, grid, pallet, and tiny.
  • Define the font color – system, black, red, green, yellow, blue, magenta, cyan, white, gray, redBright, greenBright, yellowBright, blueBright, magentaBright, cyanBright, whiteBright, candy, Any hex color starting with #, e.g.: #ff8800 or #f80.
  • Define the background color – transparent, black, red, green, yellow, blue, magenta, cyan, white, gray, redBright, greenBright, yellowBright, blueBright, magentaBright, cyanBright, whiteBright, Any hex color starting with #, e.g.: #ff8800 or #f80.
  • Align the text output – left, center, right, top, bottom.
  • Define the letter spacing.
  • Define the line height.
  • Disable the padding around the output.
  • Define the maximum characters per line.
  • Define a start and end color of a gradient.
  • Define that a gradient is applied independently for each line
