b2 – BBC Micro emulator

b2 is a BBC Micro emulator.

The emulator supports several types of BBC B (with different disk interfaces), B+, B+128, Master 128 with MOS 3.20 and Master 128 with MOS 3.50.

b2 is free and open source software.

Features include:

  • Disc image loads the file into memory.
  • Direct disc image – accesses the file directly for each read or write.
  • Change the keyboard mapping – supports UK and US keyboards.
  • Save states
  • Timeline – record a sequence of events for later playback. There’s the option to follow new events.
  • Customizable with display options, sound options, customize keyboard keys and layout
  • BeebLink support – BeebLink is a file storage system for the BBC Micro.
  • Debug options.
  • Cross-platform support – runs under Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows.
