axx – generalized assembler

axx.py is a general assembler that generalizes assemblers. In theory, it can process almost any von Neumann type processor architecture.

To process each processor architecture, a pattern file (processor description file) for it is required. You can define any instruction, but if you create a pattern file based on the assembly language of the target processor, you can process the assembly language of that processor, although the notation is slightly different. In short, it is just the grammar rules of the instructions and the generation of binaries based on them.
