WormBlast **AWOL**

Last Updated on August 12, 2018

WormBlast is probably the most violent action wormgame in the world. It is a remake of an old DOS game called ‘Parawormer II’.

The purpose of the game is to gain as high a score as possible by collecting items and shooting at other worms.

A worm gets cut if one of the body balls gets enough damage. Body balls of other worms can be collected and they add to the length. If the length of a worm drops below three then the worm dies. There is also an indicator for the health status of the head. Zero health means instant death.

Collected bananas give health and fix damaged balls. Other fruits are just for money. The wine bottle gives shields and the wooden box adds ammo to the current gun. All the guns have approximately the same amount of power, but they behave differently and are good in different situations.

The worm with the highest score in the end “wins”.

Features include:

  • 1-2 human players.
  • Split-screen option for two human players.
  • 6-7 computer players.
  • 5 different guns.
  • 10 different levels.
  • Catchy music & sounds.
