Brewtarget is a beer recipe design and brewing application for homebrewers. It helps users develop recipes, calculate brewing parameters and keep track of the ingredients and processes involved in producing beer.
The application provides a graphical environment for working with fermentables, hops, yeast, water and other brewing ingredients. Recipes can be adjusted without repeatedly calculating quantities by hand, making it easier to experiment with different ingredients and brewing methods.
Brewtarget is useful for planning a brew before starting, as well as recording what actually happened during production. Its calculations help brewers understand how adjustments affect the finished beer, while recipe and batch records provide a useful reference for future brews.
