TermTrack – Track satellites in your terminal

Summary

TermTrack is a cross-platform open source utility that isn’t confined to the Earth. It also draws the Moon or Mars.

The program works well although there’s a few bugs. It’s not necessarily frugal with resources using an entire CPU core continuously with the Hyper terminal. This problem disappears using a different terminal such as GNOME Terminal.

TermTrack hasn’t seen any significant code updates in the past few years except for the addition of the –planets flag. Most of the code updates are maintenance improvements.
