Refine is a simple tool that lets you tweak various aspects of GNOME.
This is free and open source software.
Features include:
- Appearance:
- Themes
- Set the cursors, icons, and GTK3/4 theme.
- Use a light appearance for the shell and supported apps.
- Fonts for the interface and monospace.
- Text Hinting – adjust text shapes for better clarity, especially at smaller sizes.
- Font Antialiasing – this smooths text edges for better clarify by blending colors.Background – none, centered, scaled, spanned, stretched, wallpaper and zoom.
- Themes
- Mouse and Touchpad – use the middle click to paste time. Define window header bar actions.
- Shell and Compositor including experimental features.
- Sound – set volume step.
