rdircd (Reliable Discord-client IRC Daemon) lets you access a personal Discord account using a conventional IRC client. It creates a local IRC server and translates Discord private conversations, servers, channels, threads and forums into IRC channels.
The software focuses on reliable message delivery, deterministic name translation and compatibility with standard IRC clients. It is implemented as a single Python script and requires Python 3.9 or later with aiohttp.
The developer warns that Discord may classify rdircd as an unauthorised third-party client. Using it may violate Discord’s rules and could result in account termination.
