Rapoo E9350L Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard Review

Overview

The Rapoo E9350L is a slim, compact wireless keyboard designed for users who want a tidy desk, easy device switching and a layout that still includes a number pad. It is not aimed at mechanical keyboard enthusiasts or users who want deep key travel, but as a lightweight multi-device keyboard, it has a clear purpose.

Specification and Features

On paper, the specification is appealing. The E9350L supports both a 2.4GHz wireless receiver and Bluetooth 4.0/5.0, so it can be used with desktops, laptops, tablets, phones and even smart TVs. Bluetooth support for multiple devices is one of its most useful features, especially if your working setup involves more than one machine. It also has a built-in 500mAh rechargeable battery, USB-C charging, indicator lights and an aluminium alloy base. At 363 × 119 × 13mm and around 366g, it takes up very little space and is easy to move around.

Design and Build

The design is clean and understated. The low-profile body gives it a modern look, and the aluminium-backed construction makes it feel better than many budget wireless keyboards. Rubber feet help keep it stable on a desk, and it is quiet in use, which is useful in a shared office, living room or late-night working setup. The compact 99-key layout is a sensible compromise for users who want a numeric keypad without the width of a full-size keyboard.

Typing Experience

Typing is where the E9350L becomes more a matter of preference. The low-profile scissor keys are light and quiet, but they do not offer the crispness, travel or feedback I prefer for sustained typing. For short emails, browser work, light office tasks and casual use, it is perfectly usable. For long articles, coding, terminal work or anything that depends on fast rhythmical typing, I found myself less comfortable and not as quick as I am on a fuller desktop keyboard.

Ergonomics

The fixed typing angle is another limitation. The E9350L is very flat and cannot be elevated, as there are no fold-out feet. Some users may like the low, laptop-style position, particularly if they prefer a flatter wrist angle. Personally, I would have liked some adjustment, as desk height, chair height and posture vary so much from one setup to another.

That said, the flat design also gives the keyboard one of its strengths. The E9350L makes more sense as a keyboard for data input into a tablet, casual typing away from a desk, or use on your lap. In those situations, a thicker keyboard can feel awkward, while Rapoo’s thin and light design is easier to balance and reposition. It feels more like a flexible mobile-work accessory than a traditional desktop keyboard.

Layout and Shortcuts

The layout is mostly practical, although not perfect. Keeping a number pad in a compact body is useful for spreadsheets, forms and numeric input, but some keys are necessarily smaller or more tightly arranged. The arrow keys in particular are not as generous as on a full-size desktop keyboard, so frequent navigation takes a little adjustment. The multimedia shortcuts are a useful inclusion, though, giving quick access to common functions without needing extra software.

Linux and Connectivity

Connectivity is one of the E9350L’s strongest areas. The 2.4GHz dongle is convenient for a desktop, while Bluetooth is useful for portable devices. It is also easy to pair in Linux. Using the Bluetooth settings in a modern desktop environment, the keyboard is detected quickly and pairs without needing any special software or driver. The 2.4GHz receiver is even simpler, as it behaves like a standard wireless keyboard once plugged in. Strictly speaking, the dongle is not Wi-Fi in the networking sense, but it gives the practical benefit most people mean when they describe a keyboard as wireless.

Battery Life

The rechargeable battery is also welcome for some users. There are no disposable batteries to replace, and USB-C charging keeps things simple. Battery life will depend on how heavily the keyboard is used, but this is not the sort of device that should need constant charging. Combined with the compact footprint, quiet operation and multi-device support, the E9350L is a good fit for occasional workspaces, tablets, compact desks and living-room use.

Verdict

Overall, the Rapoo E9350L is a neat, well-equipped wireless keyboard with useful connectivity and a tidy design. It would not be my first choice as a main keyboard for all-day typing, simply because I prefer more travel, more feedback and some angle adjustment. But for light office work, tablet input, occasional lap use and multi-device setups, it is a practical and good-looking option.

The keyboard is available from Amazon for £29.99.
