Odamex – Doom Engine focusing on client/server based multiplayer action and portability

Odamex is a Doom Engine source port which focuses on client/server based multiplayer action and portability, allowing the player to enjoy multiplayer Doom.

Odamex strives for full Boom compatibility and also has other enhancements over regular Doom such as mouselook and jumping (which can both be turned off on the server level). Odamex uses a client/server architecture inherited from csDoom and improved upon in many ways, for example implementing network compression.

Odamex requires a resource file from Doom or Doom 2 in order to play online.
