Museeks – web-technologies based music player

Last Updated on September 1, 2020

Summary

Museeks is an emerging music player which is simple to use. It offers a very basic but reasonable set of features. In a way, having a limited set of features is welcome. Many music players are bloated in terms of features. But there’s some core features missing from Museeks such as gapless playback.

There’s tons of other things besides gapless playback I’d like to seek implemented such as last.fm scrobbling, automatically generated playlists, lyrics view, themes, and streaming.

There are dozens of open source music players that are, in my opinion, superior to Museeks. But from little acorns do mighty oaks grow!
