EtherCalc is a web spreadsheet that’s designed to let you work remotely and collaborate with others. It’s the spreadsheet equivalent of a wiki document, without logins and without editing locks. People can collaborate on a spreadsheet-like page simultaneously. It’s sort of a Google Sheets alternative, open source style.
Your data is saved on the web, and people can edit the same document at the same time. Everybody’s changes are instantly reflected on all screens.

EtherCalc is free and open source software.

- Comment tab – which lets you ask questions to others involved in the spreadsheet.

EtherCalc is written in LiveScript, a language which compiles to JavaScript. It has a straightforward mapping to JavaScript and allows you to write expressive code devoid of repetitive boilerplate.
