Freevo allows you to manage your entire digital media collection – music, videos, photos etc. via a remote controlled TV interface. Through its built in web interface you can also access your media, view your TV guide and schedule recordings from anywhere in the world.
Freevo is 100% DRM free, plays video in a wide variety of formats, and puts you in control of the television.
Freevo tries to reuse existing other applications such as MPlayer, xine and gstreamer for this task.
Freevo is included in a number of distributions including Feux, Freepia, Freevix, FreevoLive, GeeXboX, Morphix, and Movix2.
