Kiwi IRC – web based IRC client

Kiwi IRC is a web based IRC client.

It’s designed to be simple to use.

The software is released under an open source license.

Features include:

• Themes – there are several themes included within Kiwi IRC to cover a wide use basis. Available themes:
  • Relaxed – modern theme suitable for general users that adapts its layout to suit the screen or widget size.
  • Basic – very similar to the relaxed theme but much more lightweight as its name suggests.
  • CLI – this is a dark theme with a very simplistic view. It adapts its layout to suit the screen or widget size with an auto hiding nick list.
  • Mini.
• Text styling.
• Enable Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) – secure communication between the server and browsers. SSL is a standard security protocol for establishing encrypted links between a web server and a browser in an online communication.
• Enable desktop notifications.
• Chat messages:
  • Timestamps.
  • Use 24-hour timestamps.
  • Show emoticons
  • Block new private messages.
  • Show the autocomplete box
  • Configure the number of messages in the scroll history.
• Alert / Notifications:
  • Join/part channel notifications.
  • Include join/part messages as activity.
  • Mute sound notifications.
• User Scripts
• Plugins.
• Tested on Chrome, Chrome Mobile, Firefox, Internet Explorer 11, and Safari 9+ web browsers.
• Internationalization support – translations are available for many languages.
