it Keeps on growing (iKog) is designed to help manage tasks using organizational techniques such as Getting Things Done by David Allen.
It offers a simple way to carry your tasks around on a USB stick.
When you enter a task, you can embed any number of contexts in the task. It is a console based application which consists of a single .py file.
Features include:
- Powerful filters.
- Specify projects and assign them to tasks.
- Assign priorities to tasks.
- Create your own custom abbreviations for contexts and projects.
- Quick and easy to use.
- Add notes – snippets of information.
- Portable.
- Encryption of your private information using the Xtea encryption algorithm or the AES – Rijndael encryption algorithm with a 256 bit Rijndael cipher.
- Create shortcuts for frequently used commands.
- Customise iKog with a plugin file (ikogPlugin.py).
- 2 minute timers.
