Housecat – static site generator

Housecat is a command-line static site generator.

It should support any POSIX environment.

This is free and open source software.

Key Features

  • By design, the software doesn’t transform Markdown or other formats, but the developer provides a simple script which takes Markdown files and converts them into HTML.
  • Reads rss.conf files from input/ to generate metadata for the rss channels.
  • Allows individual posts to specify rss information.
