Grok – Web Framework Based on Zope Toolkit Technology

Grok is an open source web application framework that lets you create flexible, agile web applications. Based on Zope Toolkit technology, the framework is targeted at both beginners and very experienced web developers. Grok is both easy and powerful.

Grok uses the Component Architecture and builds on Zope concepts like content objects (models), views, and adapters. Its simplicity lies in using convention over configuration and sensible defaults when wiring components together.

The project started in 2006 by a number of Zope developers.
