GPRename is a complete batch renamer for files and directories.
GPRename features many options to rename in batch, such as replace, remove, insert or delete text, add numbers consecutively and is available in many languages.
This is free and open source software.
Key Features
- Full screen mode.
- Case change.

- Numerical including adding numbers starting at a defined number with a defined increment.
- Trim spaces: Automatically trim double spaces to only one and remove spaces at the beginning or end of the names.
- Zero auto-fill: For the Numerical section, 1 will be named 01 if you go up to 99 and 001 if you go up to 999 and so on.
- Automatic preview: This option will be turned off automatically if there’s more than 10,000 files or directories listed.
- Disable security check: If used, this can delete files after renaming, only use this when you rename case on a VFAT (Windows) partition.
