Coulomb is a graphical electronic circuit simulator designed to make basic circuit experimentation accessible to Linux users. It combines a straightforward interface with a small selection of commonly used electronic components.
The application allows users to construct circuits and examine how electrical quantities change during simulation. Its interface uses GTK4 and libadwaita, providing a desktop experience consistent with modern GNOME applications.
Coulomb is most appropriate for simple circuit demonstrations and educational experiments. Its simulation backend has known limitations with nonlinear components and certain arrangements of capacitors and inductors, making more sophisticated simulators preferable for demanding analysis.
