ArmorPaint is a graphical application for painting physically based materials directly onto 3D models.
It is designed around GPU-accelerated interaction, allowing brushes, masks and material changes to be viewed on the model as work progresses. Projects combine paint layers with procedural material nodes, while baking and export tools help turn a model into a texture set ready for another renderer or engine. The public repository contains the complete source and Linux build instructions. Official ready-made binaries are sold to finance development, so users who want a no-cost build must compile the developer-oriented source tree themselves.
