Sockso – personal music host server

Sockso is a personal music server for everyone. It is a cross platform music server which requires no installation.

The web-based Graphical User Interface is totally skinnable and the built-in player supports MP3, WMA, OGG, and FLAC files. Users can also generate .M3U and .PLS files on-the-fly for playback on their favorite audio app.

It is designed to be as simple as possible so that anyone with a mouse and some music files can get their friends listening to their music across the Internet in minutes.
