PatientOS is a healthcare information system designed for small hospitals and clinics. It brings patient administration, clinical record keeping and practice management into a shared application, providing staff with tools for managing care from registration through treatment and billing.
The system was designed for distributed clinical environments in which different departments need access to related patient information. Its graphical interface accommodates administrative and clinical work, while configurable forms and reference data help adapt the software to local workflows.
PatientOS provides functionality for physicians, nurses, pharmacists and administrative staff. Medical records can include clinical observations, progress notes, care orders and medication activity. The application also incorporates interfaces for communicating information to other healthcare systems.
