Digital Paintball 2 is a fast-paced first-person game with capture the flag, elimination, siege, and deathmatch (free-for-all) styles of gameplay.

This project focuses on enhancing the Quake2-based engine it uses.

Digital Paintball was originally a Quake 2 mod, but has come a long way in almost 10 years. It is now a fully playable standalone game.

Features include:

  • Variety of maps.
  • ACEbot.
  • Strong player base.
  • Very active community.
  • rscript support (basically like Quake3 shaders).
  • Support for up to 5 mouse buttons.
  • Unique in-game menu.
  • Serverlist handles vhosts, 302 redirects, and is multi-threaded.
