zsv – high-performance CSV processing tool

zsv is a high-performance CSV parser and extensible data-processing application.

The software is designed to process large delimited datasets efficiently. Its parser uses SIMD operations, efficient memory management and other optimisation techniques, while supporting conventional CSV files as well as generic delimited data, fixed-width formats and multi-row headers.

zsv provides a broad collection of commands for selecting, transforming, inspecting and converting tabular data. Operations include counting and selecting records, running SQL directly against CSV data, flattening and stacking datasets, comparing files and converting data to formats such as JSON, TSV and SQLite.

An interactive grid viewer is also included for examining datasets without first importing them into another application.

This is free and open source software.
