xfce4-mixer is a graphical volume control application designed for the Xfce desktop environment. It provides a standalone audio mixer and a plugin for the Xfce panel.
The mixer uses GStreamer and supports several audio backends, including ALSA, PulseAudio, OSS and Sndio. Users can select sound devices, adjust individual channels and configure which controls are displayed.
The panel plugin provides quick access to volume adjustment and muting. It also supports multimedia keyboard shortcuts when built with the appropriate dependencies.
