Toast – no-nonsense CSS grid

Toast is an open source CSS framework made as simple as it can be, but no simpler. It has a simple reset, a grid, and type styles.

The main intention of Toast is to provide a barebones framework from which to build prototype layouts for websites. No framework will be as good as a custom built, per-project one.

Toast and other frameworks are best used for rapid prototyping.

Features include:

• Simple to use.
• Plain-English responsive grid makes simple layouts a breeze.
• Box-sizing – add padding and borders to the grid.
• Two main states – a single column layout for narrow screen and mobile devices, and a multi-column layout up to a default width of 960px.
